Natalie Carrado

ShesCHERIshed is the Lord’s ministry, dedicated to the memory of my sweet Mother, CHERI (ShesCHERIshed) Nemmers-Jolin. She was involved in horrific domestic violent relationships most of her life.

While at her memorial service, I felt God leading me to do something. I know her story (and my own domestic violence story) will not be in vain. Our mess has become my message within ShesCHERIshed. Our ministry truly desires to do its part in ending the cycle of abuse for many women and children.

My Mom gave her life to Jesus in 2005 and surrendered ALL to Him! God healed her from drugs and alcohol, and her abuser was sentenced to 44 years in prison for her attempted murder. My Mom Cheri was truly a walking miracle! By God’s grace, He gave her ten years to spend with us at the end of her life, free from domestic violence. She finally had the chance to rest, heal, and grow.

Audrey May Prosper

Meet Audrey, the Strategic Vision Engineer for ShesCHERIshed. In 2009, Audrey suffered a horrific attack by her first husband, leaving her burned over 80% of her body. Soon after coming home from the hospital she began speaking out and educating people globally on forgiveness and how to overcome adversity.

Her story of redemption through the Father and her willingness to break her silence inspired a movement that has now touched the lives of millions. Over the last 10 years her story, perspective, and advocacy work has been shared through outlets such as: Dr. Phil, Anderson Cooper, The Doctors, 48 Hours, I Survived, and many more.

Most recently she founded a National Domestic Violence Collaborative with the vision to nurture healthier individuals, families, and communities by doing advocacy differently. Her mission in life is to be the change we want to see.

Shayanna Spader

Shayanna has been apart of ShesCHERIshed since 2020. Although she has never experienced domestic violence firsthand, she finds this ministry to be amazing in many ways. It has opened her eyes to something so disheartening that happens in the world around us. She is excited to be a part of something that is making the world a better place.

During her free time, she loves to hangout with my family and friends. She spends a lot of her time at her mother’s farm hanging out with the alpacas, chickens, turkeys, cats and her newest addition, a puppy!

Tina Sorensen

Tina has been the Marketing lead of ShesCHERIshed since 2020. She works to bring awareness to her community through online mediums and further the message of ShesCHERIshed. She was upset learning about how prevalent domestic violence was in so many households and was eager to do something to end it and support victims. Isaiah 1:17 “See that justice is done – help those who are oppressed, give orphans their rights, and defend widows.”
